hi

i have a sml book commemorated to alice bowyer on the occasion of the coronation of king george v, all it says in the book is northwich cheshire 1911.

the book is signed from grandma.

I'm researching the Bowyers from this area.

My late Father in Law, Cyril Bowyers mother Emily Bowyer was related to the family. Emily was born around 1895 and Cyril in 1920.

Some of the family were born in Davenham near Northwich and owned a shop there.

I'd be very interested in the book if you can tell me more.

I've checked with an Aunt by marriage and it appears these do seem to be the Bowyer family I'm researching.

It is a little red bible i presume from sunday school, there is not a lot in it just presented to alice bowyer on the coronation, it is signed from grandma in pencil.

i dont know if alice got married to a yeasley ( not very clear ), i have a book on cheshire village memories,

please let me know if you want them.

no problem will wait till you come back, if i dont reply straight away transcribing for freecen i just pop on now and again,
if you live not to far from stoke ( please dont put address on ), the cost will not be too much dont worry my treat, just glad it has found a home.

Looking for relatives of Samuel Bowyer 1820-1891 Winsford Cheshire. Married Elizabeth Ellis 1826 Runcorn. Daughter Ann Bowyer 1842 Runcorn. 1851 Census has them living in Gilbert Street Runcorn.
