Hi folks
Would be very grateful if the washing and some of the background could be removed from this photograph taken early 1950's. The engine is a model of King Edward VII built by my father. Have only recently noticed the "bloomers" on the washing line :D

Oops don't think I cropped it properly :-\

Remove underwear from washing line? Isn't that a criminal offence? ;D ;D

Hi Susan,
Will do that only if I can keep the photo of Edward VII - have you any other with engines on??!! :o :o :o

Hi Keith
No problem ;D Got one of just the engine and tender without "us" sitting on the trucks. (Suppose that one could be coloured?) Why was it when we went on holiday there was always trains somewhere near ::)

Looks like your father had the same interests as me!!
Anyway I am sure you would like one as he would like it!! 8)
Cheers

P.S. Coloured - now there's a thing!!

Keith thank you - that's a lovely one of my father. He died just over four years ago and would have been 90 last week! He also built smaller models and had a 00 gauge layout in the attic, my son has all the rollingstock now! (Packed away in boxes at the present).

Hello Annie - where did you come from!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
Susan.
I have a 00 layout - computer controlled of course - in the shed/s in my brother's garden - haven't run it for a few months - been to busy doing my family tree - and photo restoration and MI reading and...........
Ahh well good job I am retired - if you would like a good home for any of your engines I could promise they would be looked after nearly as well as your father would have!! 8)
If you would like to email me a large scan of any of them ( with the builder) I would be happy to have a go at colouring them.
Send me a PM ( my email address is on my website)
Cheers

Please leave the bloomers in the pic. They realy date the era of steam and bloomers, hair styly and tie and so on. Ill knee cap you if you paint out the bloomers.
