My great grandfather Thomas MCINTOSH (born 1846/47 in Nairn, son of John MCINTOSH and Ann MAIN) was living at 17 Park Street Nairn in the 1871 Census. He was also living at this address in the 1901 Census, but the whole family goes missing in the 1881 and 1891 Census despite he and wife Margaret having six children (all born in Nairn) in this period. I have been searching for them by name and age, does anyone have the capability to lookup the 17 Park Street address for these two census?
Details are;
Thomas MCINTOSH born 1846/7 in Nairn, son of John MCINTOSH and Ann MAIN
married 3 October 1873 in Nairn
Margaret MAIN "Coggs" born 1848/9, daughter of John MAIN "Coggs" and Isabella
Children;
Thomas MCINTOSH born 12 April 1876 in Nairn
Isabella (Bella) MCINTOSH born 1877/8 in Nairn, married into the BARRON family
Ann (Annie) MCINTOSH born 1881 in Nairn
David MCINTOSH born 30 August 1882 in Nairn, emigrated to Australia & married Alice ?
John MCINTOSH born 24 November 1885 in Nairn, emigrated to Australia & married Jane COULL
Margaret MCINTOSH born 1889/90 in Nairn, married Dugie ?

Lorna,
Bingo - spot on. I used your spelling tip MACKINTOSH and found the family in the 1891 Census, still at 17 Park Street. ScotsPeople tells me that the listing for John & Ann in the 1851 Census is too unclear to read and so is not available electronically.
Thanks,

Hi, just found your posts. Margaret Duggie (married to David Duggie) is my Grandmother. They had 5 daughters, only one of whome has passed away, and that was in 1991.
