Title: Skone and Whittow in Walwyn's Castle
Post by: ajevans1 on Friday 09 June 06 21:26 BST (UK)
George Whittow (b ~1808 Talbenny) married Anne Skone (b ~1811 Llangwm) on 2nd April 1833 in Llanstadwell. They raised a family in Walwyn's Castle. I am looking for any information about their earlier ancestry.

I can pass on one piece of information about a George Whittow of Hook, a gentleman, who in 1831 was named along with David Evans of Treffgarn Hall and John Hitchings of Boulston, as friends and trustees of an 1831 version of the Will of David Rees of Dredgman's Hill, Pembrokeshire.

Incidently, David Rees' sister was also named in that same 1831 Will as Sarah Evans, therefore, I am interested in researching at least one Evans line in that area.
