Title: Star Family Borrisokane, Tipperary
Post by: Lioux on Saturday 10 June 06 18:39 BST (UK)
I am looking for information on the Star family living in Tombrickane, Borrisokane up to the 1850s.  They then left for Wales and later England, the head of the family was John Star, I think there was also a connection to the Carty family too.

Hi I know this is from a while ago, just seen it.
This maybe the Star family you are looking for.
A John Star.

Yes,
I agree most are related but I do know of a family at the top of the road in Tombrickane leading on to Ballinderry.
