Hi
Has anyone any information on the Parents of Mary Ann White,b 1813 Hastings. Any information would help in filling out the White side of the family. Mary Ann married Robert Adams in 1832.
Many thanks Baloo

Hi Baloo,
There was a Mary Ann White baptised at Hastings St Clements on 26.2.1813, to a Henry and Catherine White. There is a marriage for a Henry White and Katherine Swain at Hastings All Saints on 2.10.1810.
It should be noted that there are other baptisms of Mary Ann Whites, a couple of years either side of 1813:
Mary Ann d of Thomas & Ann 19.4.1811
Mary Ann d of Stephen & Mary Ann 28.5.1815 - both at Hastings St Clements.
Regards,
Lesley

IGI shows a Mary Ann White christened February 26 1813 at St. Clements, Hastings. Parents Henry (1787) and Catherine (1791). Siblings - Phillip christened September 26 1817 and Harriett christened April 17 1822.

These are other baptisms which may relate to siblings of Mary Ann:
Henry 7.12.1810 All Saints Henry & Kitty
William 12.4.1815 All Saints Harry & Kitty
Zebulon 10.11.1824 All Saints Henry & Kitty
Matilda 5.98.1827 All Saints Henry & Kitty
Rachael 16.3.1831 All Saints Henry & Kitty
Ann 11.10.1833 St.Clements Henry & Kitty
- father's occupation is given as fisherman each time. Also Phillip was baptised at St.Clements, and Harriott at All Saints.

Lesley

I am descended from Zebulon White baptised 12 June 1793 s/o Thomas & Ann White - Zebulon is Henry's younger brother.
I will send you a PM about the White ancestors back from Thomas.
