I have a James Gleeson married to Ellen Shanahan whose children were born in Co kildare. On the 1901 census Ellen states that she was born in Co Tipperary. I asked for a search to be made in Co Tipperary for a record of their marrige which would have been around 1850 but nothing was found.
It is possible that they did not marry in Tipperary but i have searched all the parish registers in Kildare and found no trace.
Any ideas as to where to go next?
