Hello Everybody,
Newbie here and don't know whether I'm being cheeky with this request or whether it's something that somebody can help me with.
Struggling to understand how and where to go to find Military records without travelling to London. Looked in info on this site but very confused and links to other sites don't seem to work.
Anyway here goes, Henry John Dadds, Lance Sergeant in 1st Battalion, Essex Regiment , Regimental number 2967 is supposed to have become a Chelsea Pensioner.
Can any body help me with info or tell me how to find this out without having to travel to London.
Look forward to replies, even if they are just to tell me to get off my backside.
