Would it please be possible for some kind Lister to supply me with any information on the subject person.

He apparently arrived in South Australia abt 1844 and lived in the Barossa Valley/Clare Districts until his death on 24 April 1864.

He was born abt 1812 (not known where) but thought to be in the UK, and he was employed in South Australia as a Shepherd.    Would have to a SMITH, wouldn't it. ?    Why not a WALKER or BROWN. ?

sorry cannot find  much

his death is on the indexs correct

no marriage  but

there is a philip  father john philip marrying aged 19 making his birth 1857

but it isnt on the sa indexs  which might say he arrived  after that date

in philip smith aged 19 father john philip smith married mary ann wright aged 19 father john
20/3/1878 at kapunda  114/1289

they had the following children

florence elizabeth fanny  22/3/1886  at orroroo  372/372

william thomas                 22/5/1883 at orroroo 304/94

eliza mary  ***                21/12/1879 walloway 231/339

herbert john ***            9/1/1881 orroroo 268/279

please note father was spelt phillip
and on herbert john's he had the full name of phillip thomas noakes smith this name not seen on any of the others
