Could someone please look up the following family on the 1851 census:
Joseph Clark husband
Jane Clark wife b.1820 London
Joseph William Clark son b. 1851 Bexton Surrey (may be before census not sure)

Any more details for the parents?
Were they married in 1851 - if not it will be impossible to find the father on those details

Jane and son were found on the 1861 census RG9/212/folio 54/p.53. Her father Thomas Hall and sister Caroline were residing with her. Jane was listed as married on the 1861 census; however, husband was not on census. I have found her marriage on the IGI June 8, 1842 to Joseph Clark.

Jane Clark 30 Head Married Housekeeper London Middlesex
Jane Clark 7 Daughter Brixton Surrey
Frances Clark 2 Daughter Dalston Middlesex
On the 1861 census the children were Joseph W. Clark aged 10? born Brixton Surrey and Frances Clark aged 12 born Dalston Middlesex.
Frances was with her grandfather Thomas Hall in Bishopgate on the 1871 census.
Waht occupation was Joseph on his marriage and on his children's birth certificates?

Hi,
I have just found this thread. I cannot see the 1861 census as you have described it. Jane Clark is on it with her father but no kids.
