Title: Beavan family in London
Post by: AlexB on Friday 11 August 06 19:06 BST (UK)
I'm interested in anyone who can help shed any more light into my research into the Beavan family from London. I have traced them back to about 1806 in St Giles in the Fields. Most of the family seemed to have frequented Southwark, Bermondsey, Bethnal Green, Hoxton, and Shoreditch throught the 1800's and early 1900's.

I have an extensive tree now including links with:

ABBOTT CARTWRIGHT EDLAND HOWELL JACKSON KARBY KELSEY KILPATRICK RILEY STOCKER WHITING.

Hi Alex
welcome to rootschat :)

It might be worthwhile to put your details on the 'surname interest table' (if you haven't already done so), the link for it can be found at the bottom of the page.

happy hunting
Bee :)

Hello,

I have married a Beavan originally from Essex. His fathers name is Alan Beavan (still living) but I have very little information to go on at the moment. Do you have anyone in your tree Alan Beavan born approx 1940's I think?

Thanks,
Anita
