I have 2 unusual surnames in hubby's Tree. Did any one by these Surnames come to Oz.
MALLERSTATT (Missing a Frederick b 1905 Invercargill NZ )
Axel Leopold Mallerstatt (1846 Sweden-1914 NZ) m Annie Lousia Attwood 1893 NZ. They had 3 Children, Annie 1898, Violet 1901 and Frederick 1905 (all born in NZ) I have the 2 girls but not Frederick. Did Axel go to Australia before coming to NZ as i can not find his entry in NZ. I am guessing he came to NZ about 1870.

Any help with these 2 surnames would be much appreciated
