Are you still looking for these people?   11 years down the line you might have given them up and moved on!  Anyhow, I found them in the 1871 census for Lauder. If you still want the info I'll click the button and 'spend' 6 credits to get it!  Let me know.   Anne

go on Scotlandspeople - check out Census 1881 (LDS) it free

the family are there along with possible other in Lauder and Earlston

Andrew aged 46 was born Lauder lives at Earlston - is Plumber/Slater like Robert 70

looks like Robert & Murdison had more children
