My wife and her mother did some work, about 12 years ago, on three of the Berwickshire Monumental Inscription series.

Also the above ADAM McLEISH who died at Edington Mains 4.6.1909 aged 78 years. Also ANN ISABELLA McALISTER ALLAN beloved wife of ANDREW McLEISH who died at 'The Lodge' Cothill 29.1.1945 aged 68 years. Also the above ANDREW McLEISH who died at 'The Lodge' Cothill 13.8.1946 aged 72 years.

Here are the Scotts in Polwarth Cemetery;
135 In loving memory of WALTER SCOTT husband of ISABELLA HUME died at Marchmont 22.5.1946. Also the above ISABELLA HUME died at Galashiels 12.1.1977.
155 In loving memory of MARY MESSER SCOTT daughter of WALTER and ALISON SCOTT who died at Station House Marchmont 9.1.1895 aged 26 years. Also their son THOMAS MESSER SCOTT killed at Loos 25.9.1915 aged 28 years. Also the above WALTER SCOTT who died at Polwarth 4.5.1917 aged 71 years. Also their daughter ALISON SCOTT who died at Polwarth 18.11.1918 aged 28 years. Also their daughter HELEN SCOTT who died at Marchmont 23.1.1929 aged 52 years. Also ALISON MESSER wife of the above WALTER SCOTT who died at Marchmont 5.11.1930 aged 83 years.

I have photos of the 6 Virtue graves at Polwarth...not my family but I took them a few years ago for someone else. You are welcome to copies if you wish. Unfortunately I can't find my written inscriptions for them and you will not be able to read all that is on them. Paw may have sent you the MI's though.
