I actually have a line that lived in Darvel (and still does).  Darvel is in the Parish of Loudon in Ayrshire.  Been doing a bit of research in that place.

Just in case- I am looking for Michael and Alexander Cochrane and Mary Smith (she married Alexander Cochrane).  Have a bunch on Cochranes and love to share!
