I'm at a real blank for my maternal Grandfather ARTHUR HARE.
I've got him on the 1901 Census in London (Westminster) with birthdate of 1879 - but frustratingly he was a Boarder for the census. Place of Birth is given as Pimlico, London; His occupation is "Woollens Trade" throughout his life as far as I can see. I've got his father WILLIAM HARE as an "accountant" from Arthur's 1902 Marriage cert - but no date or place of birth, or mother.
And that's it!
I can't find a match for either of them in any other online census or BMD - but I of course, I have so little data to recognize matches.
Strangely - I also can't find any of his three sons - Frederick, Sidney and Lester in BMD after 1902 - but I have got his daughter (my mother) DORIS ANITA HARE dob 1915, and Arthur was still alive in 1937 for her marriage.
HELP !?

It doesn't match with the birthplace of Arthur unfortunately, but its just a possibility. Also it doesn't give his parents' birthplaces.

Very many thanks for your quick response. I've got that entry (and many others similar) - but it is precisely the problem that I don't have enough info to match up these entries. (bites carpet!!)
