Hi all,
Does anyone know if the SA government has historical records of all those in their employ? Specifically, in the 1800's.
WA has them - called a Public Service List, published annually. Includes name, occupation, length of employment and date of birth.

Hi Adrianne
If you try a name search at the SA archives you might come up with something, I found some of my names like that in Engine Driver qualifications and even a passenger list.

I had tried the site before with no success but thought I'd try it again. Think I've found what I was looking for :D
