HI.
       could someone do a look up for a marriage date for william scott and annie dodd(s) in ancrum please had a son rbert born 1801/3

Sadly, there's no marriage showing on the Old Parish Registers for this couple, nor a submitted entry on IGI.

There are however a number of births/christenings showing in Ancrum on IGI where only the father William Scott's name is given, including a christening date for a Robert:

ROBERT SCOTT  Christening: 23 APR 1805  Ancrum, Roxburgh, Scotland
Parents: Father: WILLIAM SCOTT

Hard to verify without a corresponding mother's name but unfortunately, that's how the event was registered. If you search on IGI, use batch code c117802 for births/christenings between 1703-1820  in Ancrum.
