This source is only for the Marriages in Glamorgan 1569 until civil registration.
The information I have given on this couple is all that I have.
With regards to finding the parents names for both you may have to view the parish records for such information. This Genuki link may help in locating where these parish registers are kept:

(please note genuki site is currently unavailable)

Thank you once again for your help.
As I live in Devon I wont be able to visit and consult parish records so I guess my reserch will stop with them.

The 1st detailed census was the 1841 census which became even more detailed by 1851 & 61.
There was an 1831 census but universally these earlier census returns were literally head counts no detail can be gained from them at all.
Just found these references also from the LDS site too, may be worth you keeping them for future reference:

Already looked in 1841, cannot find a Jemima at all, also searched for Nicholas (with spelling variants)
Did find a Jemima Morgan in the 1851 census which matches her estimated birth year but the husbands name is different

Hi Jan,
I have found amongst my many papers a census return for Nicholas and Jemima in Upper Machen.
I guess I will turn my attention to the Mnmouthshire board now.
