John Smith and Kathrin McKay were married in Watten 11/12/1735. Any information re their family would be appreciated, I know they had a son Alexander b 1743in Watten  who married Rachel Sutherland in 1769 also in Watten.

How frustrating to research the name Smith :o and the Sutherland isn't much better!I've hunted high and low to find a birth for Rachel and NO LUCK. :'(
