Title: book, Pae Dirt
Post by: clazey on Sunday 14 January 07 18:34 GMT (UK)
A researcher in Australia is looking for the book Pae Dirt and information on the Steele family which is in this book.  Does anyone know where he can get this?

Thank you.

Hi,

I have to say I have never heard of it but the Scottish Genealogy Society seem to have a copy. http://www.scotsgenealogy.com/library/families3.htm  (http://www.scotsgenealogy.com/library/families3.htm)

They might be able to tell you if it is still in print and if so where to get it. Have you tried ebay, save it as a favorite search then if it ever goes on you will get an e-mail!

I'll let you know if I come across it,

 ;D

A rare book indeed

Pae dirt : diggings into some old records and recent recollections of Pae families in England, Scotland, Canada, and the United States

by Phyllis Richards Kyle

Searching on Google books brings only a library search for this book

Thank you so very much.  I will let Alan Jones know where he can access it.
