I've got this person now on my list of 'find out more', purely because of her surname ! ... she married an ancestor, Joseph Foyle, in 1802 in Witchampton ... but I can find out nothing about her, where she came from, who her parents were ... and out of curiosity I looked up her surname in the dictionary ... wish I hadn't !
(I know, hundreds of RC-ers will now be rushing to the OED !)
I wonder if there are variations on her name that I haven't thought of ... or if anyone can suggest how I can satisfy my curiosity as to how to find out more about her ! I know she had seven children, etc., but I'd love to know more about that name !!
I almost feel a limerick coming on ...
"A Dorset girl called Friggle,
Liked to leap, and dance, and giggle ...

On the IGI extracted record she is Triggle and he is Foyl but on the submitted Ancestral File she is Friggle, he is Foyle and his father is Abraham Foyle Foil. Also shows there were 8 children.
Looks like a busy time for you!

Ah-hah ! THANK YOU !
You've given me an idea ... on the IGI I have found
Hannah Trigell
Baptism: 29 APR 1781 Gussage, , Dorset, England
So if thats her, she'd have married at age 21, which sounds right ?
I've had other cases of Hannah becoming Anna, or vice versa ... especially in cockney London !
Later:- What, no-one finished off the limerick ?
