Hello, hoping someone may be able to assist me locate the following family.
HINCHSLIFF Thomas Wade b1842
HINCHSLIFF Emily wife b1844
HINCHSLIFF William Henry son b1865
HINCHSLIFF Laura Elizabeth daughter b1867
On assisted passenger index the family is listed as HINCHCLIFFE arriving Queensland on Compta 7th November, 1882.
Looking for any bmd's that will help track down this family.

As a starter, I can see Thomas W. and Emily buried at South Brisbane Cemetery.
He died 27/11/1919
She died 6/2/1926
Loc 7A grave J
They are under the name of Hinchcliffe and there are others there of that name too.

Mary Steel Born: 16 Aug 1892/009258.
Died: Mary Steel 18 Oct 1893/B026380.
Miriam Gladys Born: 20 Dec 1894/008685.
Richard Ward Born: 27 Oct 1890/B047126.
Laura Elizabeth married John Royan Greig on 14 Jul 1885/B009824.
Children:
Emily Mary Born: 1 Sep 1885/B034938.
Thomas Ward Born: 19 Sep 1887/B039814.
Laura Alice Marion Born:24 Aug 1889/B044462.
There is a Beatrice Agnes Hinchsliff married Gordon Brown on 21 Dec 1914/B016033.
Beatrice Agnes had child: Beatrice Elizabeth Born: 12 Apr 1911/B025127.

I am hoping that the Beatrice Agnes Hinchsliff you found is the daughter of William Henry Hinchsliff and Agnes Murray. She would certainly fit in between their first born Emily Mary b1886 & Richard Wade b1890. She certainly is a mystery ::) Can I please ask, did you try Hinchcliff (e) as well, as the surname varies all the time.

Beatrice Agnes Hinchsliffe was born 15 Aug 1888 ref B041877 parents William Henry and Agnes McMurray
Qld CDs go to 1914. If you want to find later BDMs they are available on fiche at libraries & LDS centres.

I am the grandson of Beatrice Agnes Hinchcliff (in this topic) who was married to the :) Australian Labor politician Senator Gordon Brown.
Keen to know what is known about her life prior to her marriage to Gordon. Any help?
