Hi Bill

Have you got the family's 1891 Census entry in Glasgow, all the children showing as born in Ireland:

Eccles Lennox    29,Saw-Mill labourer, b. Ireland
Martha Lennox    30, b. Ireland
Eccles Lennox    8,
Lizzie Ann Lennox 6
William Jas Lennox 3
Bella Jane Lennox 1
George Turner    44, lodger, b. England
Samuel Bates    19, lodger, b. Ireland

Address: 2 Masterton St, Glasgow Maryhill

Eccles and Martha's marriage cert. in 1881 in Glasgow would have included their parents' names. I can see from your other post on the Co. Tyrone board here on RootsChat  that you have details of where at least the children were born.

Fascinating story supplied on this Irish post regarding the untimely death of Eccles in Canada - poor man  :'(

With Eccles's death in Canada in 1908, it is likely that Martha remarried going by her death entry on the index at Scotlands People:

1934   LENNOX   MARTHA       Other surnames: LYONS /TOMB   71   SPRINGBURN   GLASGOW CITY/LANARK   644/06 0043

Regards.

Monica  :)
