Hi Rosie,I am also looking for a Wilson family,The Grace Wilson i am looking for was first married to a Michael Jamieson,Then to some one called Holliea /Hollis?.
I have been looking at the same family as you but havent verified that my Grace is the one married to Rueben.
My Wilson,s occupation,s were Gen Dealers,Hawkers and Horse Dealers.
Grace Wilson and Michael Jamieson had a daughter Margaret born circa early 1850,s. Margaret went on to marry a Thomas Wilson. They had a son James born circa 1879-81 who married a Jane Watson.
I dont know if there is any connection to your Wilson family.Hard lot to find the Wilson,s .

Hi, I gave up on my FH for a while and did not check in rootschat, hence the late reply.
everything you say about your 'wilsons 'applies to mine, ie hawkers/gen dealers etc. Have you thought that your Grace was married to the other fella 1st?
Tell you why I say that, My grace on the 1871 census has children that are only 12 and 5. Now take that off 1871 and it takes you back to late 1850's. Possibley she was wed before?
I have already thought and found something to say Rebin Hollis had and had other children (his age of 42 on 1871 census also suggests he may have been)
You have to remember they wed as young as 11/12 in those days so anythings possible.
I think it mighty suspect that you think she married a hollis etc. Have a look at the possiblity. Roie ;)

Hi rosieM,
You have copied over your post from 2010 - is there anything specific you are hoping to find?
Just putting this marriage for background (which will confirm her Father' name).
Marriage December quarter 1856
Reuben Hollis Bingham
Grace Wilson Bingham
and this shrink link to 1911 and death
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01klg/
this looks like a brother for Grace
Andrew Wilson christened 15th February 1833 in Kirton-in-Lindsey, Lincolnshire, Father Andrew Wilson, Mother Margaret.
Margaret, Andrew and Grace all together in 1881 census
