I am hoping a fresh pair of eyes may find George Edington b.1821 Poplar, Middlesex in the 1851 Census.
He appears in the 1841 age 20, occupation Shoe Maker in Bethnal Green, Middlesex, ref: HO107/692/8 folio 5 page 25.
His marriage took place in 1852 and he appears in the 1861 Census in Poplar age 40, Master Cordwainer, with wife Mary A and four children, ref: RG9/310 folio 4 page 1.
His whereabouts in 1851 is a mystery to me, perhaps his name is mistranscribed but so far my wildcard searches haven't found him so help finding him would be much appreciated.
