It's the A-Z of Public Houses in Cheltenham from 1800s to 2003 together with the recorded landlords etc. Surprised to find the wife's great grandfather was a pub landlord in 1891. GM,
It would have been better to post your message about Tewkes' FHS on the main resources list where it is more likely to be seen by newcomers and appear on my Resource Messages Index.
I am hoping that Arranroots is able to lock all resource messages to prevent any more of them growing like topsy and becoming too confusing to search easily.

A website with a wealth of resources concerning parishes in and around the
Forest of Dean. Registration needed.
http://www.forest-of-dean.net
Their transcriptions are much more than lists of names and dates. All the relevant
information is included where it exists. e.g. the particular hamlet within the parish,
whether a person is the elder, the younger, age at death, widow, occupation etc.,
etc. For this lovely little corner of the world, it makes the IGI look amateur.
Too many features to mention, but Soundex search, advanced custom search,
a growing wills index. After more than a year, I am still discovering something new
every time I visit.

The picture J. Blair shows of Susanna Percy is beautiful, except the child is not Ruth, maybe susan but not Ruth. Ruth had black hair and brown eyes. She is my grandmother and is buried in Iantha, MO with her husband, Clarence Hess. There must be some Spanish in the dna and the name dando is the Spanish word for giving. I have a picture with Susannah and Ruth.
