Title: Markdow Railway Cottage, New Luce

My gr/grandfather Phillipe Maurer  worked on the railways and lived at this address on the 1881 census, does anyone local know if the cottage is still standing,
Hope someone can help

i know who lives at markdow, may be of help to you, the railway
runs right past it.

I have only just seen your message,  I didn't have any luck with finding out about the cottage.

I would love to know any information you might have on it, I had half expected it to be long gone.

I will see what i can find out for you. My Grandparents
lived just along the road from there round about 1925

Hi, My great grandfather lived in one of the Markdow Railway cottages in 1891. Did you happen to find out if they still exist please ? I would love to get a photo of it .
