Bit of a long shot but is there any way i can find out about my great grandfathers death. His name was William Dance married to Susan and they lived in West St Helens St in Abingdon. He died in 1902 and im led to believe he may have died by accident at Culham. Is there copys of old Abingdon newspapers to search anywhere. Im also trying to find out about Clarks clothing factory in Abingdon and wonder if there was a site i could search to find out who worked there. Id be gratefull for any advise on this.
Regards
Sue

Hi Sue, his Death Cert should give you an outline of what caused his death.
If the 'Informant' was the Coroner, then it was probably an incident needing investigation...
local papers would hopefully have a report - try googling for the names of local papers ..
