Title: Offaly Kings County, Gray
Post by: purlin on Monday 16 July 07 10:23 BST (UK)
I am trying to establish the birth of a Bernard Gray.  He would be born around the 1820's I think.  He was possibly born in either Offaly, Louth or Antrim, Offaly being the best bet.  His spouse was an Alice Rinrouse,Ringrose or Ringrow.

Bernard and Alice had a son John B. 1847 Dumfries, who married Margaret Brotch in Dumfries in 1859.  John is recorded on the LDS 1881 census, living in Cumberland.

I have checked the 1851 Dumfries census and Bernard does not appear to be in that area.

Any help would be appreciated.

Appears we may be doing the same lines.
John Gray actually came to NZ - how I come through.
How do we go from here to swap more in depth details?
