I hope you're still around. I have a William Little, married to Mary Bell, on my tree. Their son was Christopher Little (who also married a Mary) born c.1784. Unfortunately I also have very little information on these people.

EDIT: Christopher's son, George, was born in Hutton & Corrie c.1808.

Hi
I don't know much about The family of William Little and Mary Bell but I looked up Christopher's death certificate and found that William Little was a joiner on both death certificate's, so going on that I believe Christopher is Mary's brother.

About 8 years too late: John Harkness and Mary Little are my direct ancestors. Indirect evidence suggests that William Little had an illegitimate child with John's mother Hannah and subsequently moved to Jamaica
