It's been mentioned that my great grandfather, Patrick McDonnell had some connections with Co.Laois although he lived in Co. Tipperary. Does anyone know of / Has anyone come across any McDonnells in Laois?

Hey Im looking for information on Hannah McDonald who was born about 1820 in Rathdowney, in Laois. She immigrated to Australia married and had a son whos called Ross Donnelly Beer, so possibly her surname could have been McDonnelly.. or Mc Donnell, however I cannot find anymore info.

His parents are William beer and Hannah McDonald
Hannah from Laois Ireland arrived in Australia 1837 on Sir Charles Forbes for stealing clothing, she was 17 (I can't find her parents)

Eros Beers B: 1851 Sydney D: unknown ?? Still researching as dob same maybe twins who died early
Ross Donnelly Beers (my 3rd gg grandfather) B: 1851 Sydney D: 1933 Chatswood Sydney
Hannah remarried in 1856 to Frederick William Robinson she died 1893 in Stockton NSW age 74.
