Hello to All.....
I am trying to trace my TURNER ancestors which is obviously turning out to be a bit of an ordeal with such a common name!!!!
Joseph TURNER married Sarah HALL on 27 May 1822 at Beeley and according to the IGI they had at least the following children - John (ch.1822), Malah (c1825), Charles (ch.1829) & Ellen (ch.1831)
John TURNER (ch.1822) married Mary WORRALL (c1819) on 26 July 1849 at Beeley and then the trail goes cold
Malah TURNER (c1825) married Peter BOND (c1825) on 16 August 1852 at Beeley and then the trail goes cold
Charles TURNER (ch.1829) is my GG Grandfather and married Emily CRAWFORD (c1840) but I have been unable to find either her birth record or the marriage record. I have this line pretty much tracked to my father in 1937
I have not found any further clues with regards Ellen TURNER (ch.1831)
I have tracked Charles and Emily's family in the 1871 + 81 + 91 + 1901 census but do not have enough info (addresses) to ask for earlier look-ups (suggestions anyone). The other siblings are also proving difficult and I'm not sure where to begin with them
All suggestions and advice is welcomed
I look forward to hearing from you
Kindest Regards
Claire
