Hiya,

Thought I'd post my Yarrow interest.

Mary Eliza Scott Fallen born in 1873 in Annan Dumfrieshire she came to work in Yarrow and married John Watson Snowden in 1907.  He was the son of James Snowden and Janet Watson.

I believe the family settled in Selkirkshire.

Are you related?  If so please post or PM me.  Mary Eliza is my gg aunt.

Boongie Pam I was checking back and thought this might help In Shawfield Cemetery Selkirk

"122      In loving memory of   MARY   FALLON   wife of JOHN   SNOWDEN died 10th"
"January 1950 aged 76yrs and the above  JOHN  SNOWDEN  died 17th  December"
"1954 aged 70yrs and their son James  SNOWDEN  died 24th  December 985 aged"
"70yrs and their daughter  MARY  JANE  SNOWDEN died 21st November 1987 aged"
"77yrs."

I had been looking back on information about Mary Snowden who is my gg aunt and came across this. Mary Eliza is my gg grandmother.
