Title: Abraham & Robert SPALDING/SPALDEN - Are They Brothers?
Post by: Kevinshouse on Friday 31 August 07 21:20 BST (UK)
Could anyone help me to find out if Abraham Spalding (Spalden) and Robert Spalding (Spalden) are brothers.  I know somehow they are related but how?  Robert was born in 1710 and married Elizabeth Wells in 1735 in Gazeley.  I believe that Abraham was  married to Elizabeth Mason in 1729 in Barrow, I do not have a year of birth for Abraham. Any help would be very much appreciated,

Kind regards Susan

Thank you so much Dave Francis  - my sister and I are delighted with the information you have found, I now need to go through it carefully.  It is very sad that Abraham died in the workhouse.  The Spaldings are my direct line through my maternal grandmother.

Many thanks once again

kind regards Susan
