I have just received the birth certificate for Emma Bryant born 1840 Wick. Her parents were Samuel Bryant born 1809 (c) Wick, died 1863 Abson, and Hannah Hale born 1803 Wick died 1859.
Been on the IGI and can find no record of when they married or any birth entries. Their oldest child Eliza was born in 1828.
Any help would be appreciated

Found a Hannah Haile born 17th Jan 1808 Arlingham, Gloucester, could it be her?

If you use the procedure at http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/FindingBatchNos.html and search for Abson you will find that although the LDS have film many church records they have not extracted the data hence there's nothing in the IGI. You might find a submitted entry for some name though.
The only thing to do then, is to search, or have searched, the church records held at Bristol RO or search LDS films at an LDS FHC.
See the LDS Library Catalogue for film numbers for Abson.

Dear Helina, I am interested to know what you know about Samuel Bryant. I am also looking at the same Samuel Bryant as you have described. Although my records indicate that Eliza wasn't the oldest child, but Clement Bryant was (born 1834, Eliza 1844).
