Title: a guid new year to aw
Post by: runningbear on Monday 31 December 07 15:35 GMT (UK)
hi all,

i do not know about anyone else but i have had a terrific time on rootschat this year.

made new and wonderful friends and i had a ball at the glesga rootschat meet, cannot wait for another one.....

sadly we have lost a few well known rootchatters, one way or another, some may come back while others can't, may god bless them and their families at this time of year.

it is wonderful to see so many newcomers online at rootschat, so we must be doing something right........

hope the coming year is prosperous for all in all that they do in life

Joe

You are one of the nicest Rootschatters I've met and have become a special pal. You're always ready to help when you can and are so  kind hearted and you have a great sense of humour.

Happy New Year to you and to everyone and God Bless

I'll second Joe's general comments and also second Gadget's comments about Joe.
I only joined A YEAR AGO TODAY but have got so much out of it.  Friends and a lot of knowledge and help.

All the best for 2008 to everyone.

A very happy new year to all Rootschatters and their families.

I joined late in 2006 and can honestly say I have been just amazed with all the help and support on the site. I have met a few folks from the site both at Glasgow and Manchester and have made some great friends.

Long may it continue!

here's tae us all!

Specially for you - tho he doesn;t know yet so ssssh! - I will nag the Oh to do another Glesca meet cos we had such a good time!

He may murder me for this but hey! Or I might just help him organise it instead!

Would love to meet up again cos we had such a great time and was so good to meet my bestest mate from the Scottish boards (any any excuse to come hame - us emigrees get homesick noo and agin)

lol dave

Not at all! Less they started making Kenco with booze in and lie on the labels about the contents lol

We had such a good time I think another is in order but I do admit to getting very homesick especially around new year - and I moved away 24 years ago. Any opporchancity to come home is good in my book!

You'd think by now would be over it. There is no hope!

You can take the girl out of Scotland but ye'll never take Scotland out of the girl!
