The Applecross Historical Society (http://www.applecrossheritage.org.uk/genealogy.html) offers a genealogy search facility at the Heritage Centre where a computerised database is available. Currently the Society have data from the 1841, 1861, 1881 and 1891 Census Returns. The Society co-operates with the FreeCen Project which is dedicated to providing free census information on the Internet including the 1841 Applecross Census.
