Hi,
can someone find for me the baptism in c 1817 of a William LLOYD of Chew Magna.(the place he always gives as his place of birth in the census although he may I suppose have been baptised in Midsomer Norton.Later generations were baptised in the Weslyan chapel there.
He appears to be illegitamate as on his marriage certificate he gives his fathers name as George WEAVER,Labourer.Of course I don't know his mothers name so I would be interested to know.
William's daughters were called Jemima,Ann and Clara so his mother may have been called that and he kept the name with his own children.
