Hello
Would anyone be able to find a marriage for Anthony Hole in the Barcombe/Hurstpierpoint/Ditchling area in the period around the early 1780s?
He looks to have married, or at least had a family with, an unknown Mary, but IGI has not got a record for this
They had at least three children, Jane (1783), Ann (1787, my direct ancestor), and Thomas (1790)
Anthony was a long-lived sort and was recorded in 1841 as a blacksmith in Bolney, despite the fact he was 86 at the time! He lived to be 94, the oldest member of my tree so far found.
Many thanks
Glen

Blimey Kerry, you're on the ball today! ;D
That definitely must be the chap, and I don't think its too far away really.
My great-grandfather used to walk twenty miles to work every day!
We Sussexers are a hardy lot, aren't we!
Thanks
