Thank you so much. I have since found that Mary Anne Keegan was baptised in St Bridges Ballinamore with the above Parents, I also had found James Keegan & Annie Mcgoldrick marrying in 1st Quarter 1915 in Bawnboy, this gets more confusing as I go along, So I really appreciate any help

You found James Keegan & Annie Mcgoldrick marrying in 1st Quarter 1915... they could have married late December and not registered it until January!!

Hi Hallmark
Mary's birth was not registered, although I have since found her baptismal cert, tucked up in a tin in the furthest reaches of a loft. The baptismal states that a witness was also a Mary Anne Keegan, so grandmother or aunt. Mary would never talk about her early life, although she did say her uncle was shot by the Black & Tans, we do not know when she even came to England. Thank you so much for your help it is much appreciated

No Idea Hallmark, but I believe there was a sister to Mary named Elizabeth 17/10/1917, also a brother, I found one named Patrick Joseph born 1917 died in england 1980, and an Annie Keegan dying 1920 (next Quarter) aged 36, Mary said that her mother died in childbirth, but really I have idea how to prove that any of this is belonging to our family
