Hello Salmonorourke,

Have you tried Co. Kildare Libraries www.kildare.ie/library/branches.asp ?

State Solicitors and such dignataries usually warrant an Obituary in local newspapers.

Think new members have to have 3 posts before they can use PM system.

Hi Aghadowey,

Thank you for that information. Do you know if there is a way I can contact Mark without posting my e-mail address online?

I understand that Martin Salmon's mother was Polly Salmon (nee Moore) to whom I am in some way connected.  Does this information ring true?  I have been trying for ages to establish the link
Thanks
Liam

FAO MARK SALMON
Hi Mark, I have an old photo of Martin Moore whose mother was Polly Moore (nee Salmon) who I believe was somehow connected to your late father. I have always been told that they were related on my paternal grandfather's side but have never established exactly how. Do either of the above names mean anything to you? Many thanks Liam
