Title: Commemorative Plaques on Irish houses
Post by: Christopher on Sunday 06 April 08 15:00 BST (UK)
The Institute of Physics has erected blue plaques in various locations around the United Kingdom and Ireland in order to celebrate physicists who lived or worked in the locality http://ireland.iop.org/activity/awards/Blue_Plaques/page_17318.html

The Ulster History Circle place plaques on houses in Northern Ireland. Since they unveiled the first plaque ninety six have been erected www.ulsterhistory.co.uk/plaques.htm

Does anyone know who are responsible for Plaques in the Republic of Ireland as there's one on a property in Co. Kildare for Sean T. O'Kelly? When did Sean T live in Kildare? Wikipedia says he was born at Capel Street, Dublin, in 1882, and was educated at the Richmond Street Irish Christian Brothers School?
