Title: Link: Hospitals and Nursing during WW1
Post by: Catswhiskers on Thursday 23 December 04 21:59 GMT (UK)
This was forwarded to me from another list. It is about the early days of plastic surgery during and after WWI. I tis the most complete archive of Medical notes from the Great War in the World.

Gillies Archive St Mary's Hospital Sidcup by Dr Andrew Bamji

There are some very disturbing illustrations of the type of facial injuries treated.

Not the sort of thing to cheer you up at Chistmas. I know, but perhaps the sort of dish that should be served to all politicians on Christmas morning.

Here is a link for the Chelsea Pensioners book of remembrance for patients who died 1978 onwards. It has dates of birth and death as well as regiment/corps. I thought it may be useful for someone.
