William SANDERSON born c1824 South Shields, Durham married Margaret WAINWRIGHT 8.2.1845 at St Nicholas Church, Liverpool. William's father was Thomas SANDERSON and Margaret's father was William WAINWRIGHT. Margaret was born c1826 in Ireland. Margaret and William are my 2xGreat Grandparents. They had three children to my knowledge (?were there more?) Susanna[h] Wainwright SANDERSON born 1847 York (my great grandmother); William Robert SANDERSON born 1850 York and Isabella Kate SANDERSON born 1851 York. William SANDERSON was a glass maker / blower.
Margaret and William are my brick wall! What happened to William Robert and Isabella Kate? Do any of these names appear in your tree?

Hello Lyla,
Much appreciate the information you have found on the Sanderson family - please could you elaborate on the "N" - do you mean they were all born in Newcastle?
Is it obvious or is this what they call a 'senior moment'?!!! ;D

please could you elaborate on the "N" - do you mean they were all born in Newcastle?
N in the 1841 census meant NOT born in the county in which they were living (in this case, NOT in Lancs)

Thank you very much GeoffE for that information - much appreciated.
