Title: Honor Maria Weganowan 1826
Post by: Willow 4873 on Monday 16 June 08 20:43 BST (UK)
Hiya all

Can anyone spot OH GGGrandfathers first wife in the 1841 census?

In later census she lists herself as being born Bloomsbury Middlesex. She married Thomas Glover 1849 Stephney Middlesex

She died 1862 Eccleshall Staffordshire

Hiya Sue

Thats what it comes up on FreeBMD and looking at the image its quite clear that its Weganowen.

I dont have the certificate to confirm it though

The image of the GRO marriage index does indeed show the name to be Weganowan - but FreeBMD shows no other instances of that name, and FamilySearch draws a blank too.

I think this is one for a certificate, to see who her father was!
