Looking for the birth and marriage dates of William Ambrose Britton, proberly in the Bristol area around 1880 for his birth and 1912 for his marriage. He married Minnie Annie Gulliford nee Chappell, they had a son in 1912, Clifford Ernest Britton.

The only birth for a William Amlbrose Britton, as you have probably found out for yourself, seems to be in 1862 :-\ Not sure how to proceed further without having more details. Do you know when William Ambrose died and what his age at death was?

Hi Tati, Thanks for the reply, the marriage found by susan was for an Alice not Minnie. Minnie married Edward Sidney Gulliford in 1902, cannot find out whether he died or if they separated. The next info I have is birth cert of Clifford Ernest Britton, b1912, father William Ambrose Britton, mother Minnie Annie Britton late Gulliford formerly Chappell. I have search all the bmd's without success.

I know it's been a while since you posted this but I've only just come across your request. William Ambrose Britton and Minne Chapple were my Grandfather's parents. What is your interest in them ? Maybe I can help.
