Hi John

I am not sure if this is your James but I thought I would post it just in case.
On national Archives there is this will:

Information relating to document ref. no. 1078/IRW/C/498 James Churchward of Buckfastleigh, Devon. [Devon Record Office] Date: 1855.

Hi John

what kind of info are you looking for? Do you need census returns etc?

I cannot see Susanna's christening on IGI ...only one is Susanna Eales b c 1788 Ashburton  :-\

Hi Deb,

I have SUSANNA on the 1841 and 1851 Census.

I would like any information on the Parents of SUSANNA.

Her Parents could be WILLIAM EALES christ 1757 Staverton, Devon married MARY ......

Her Granparents could be WILLIAM EALES christ 1735 Ashburton married November 1756 Staverton SUSANNA DOD.

I am not sure if these are her Parents and Grandparents. So any help or advice would be most welcome.

Thank`s.
John.

hi again John

I have been on National Archives and see that there are many EALES wills from Ashburton. Since we do not have Susanna's parents, we do not know her siblings  ...were there any clues in the 1841 and 1851 that you can see... I was thinking that maybe the wills (although we are not sure if they are your people), will mention Susannah Churchward and her family and so we we would be able to follow from there.

hope I am making sense  ;D

A couple of Williams there, but neither of them with dates that correspond to your Williams.

Incidentally, why do you use a Cornish shield as your symbol although you don't list Cornish as among the families you're interested in?
