Hi
Whilst looking for Skerritts in Battersea I came across your postings regarding the Guyatt family.
My grandmother was Eliza Skerritt ,the younger sister of Minnie Skerritt.
Althought I now live in Australia, I grew up in Battersea and met Minnie and Charles (Arthur) Guyatt many times, when they were living in Georgie Rd, Thornton Heath.  I also met Charles Guyatt (son) on a few occasions. I remember very well that he had a Rolls Royce and a chauffer called Randell, who would not let us near the car!!
The family actually lived in Wickersley Rd. Battersea in the early 1900's then moved into Tyneham Rd (next street) .
Should you be interested, I have quite a bit of information on the Skerritt family and also on Minnie's mother's family - Till.
which I would be happy to share with you, should you read this posting.
Regards
Paul

Hi Paul

Welcome to Rootschat  ;D

According to her profile, Janice (Elton) hasn't been online here since June 2010.

As long as her email address hasn't changed or she hasn't switched off her notifications, she will receive emails to let her know we have posted on her topic.

Hopefully, she'll come back soon.

I have quite alot of family on the skerritt side who was born in Middlesex/London area. Not sure if somehow they are related down the line or any connection.
