Two small books found in a second hand shop, both inscribed with the name of Olive MOWFORTH. One book, The Essays of Elia, by Charles Lamb, is the form prize, awarded to Olive from the Headmistress (M.W. Johnson) of Ripon Girl's High School, July 1923. The other, Nine Modern Plays, by John Hampden, is inscribed with Olive's name and dated October 1928.
Anyone interested in the MOWFORTH family are welcome to these.
